Baseball Game Preview: Doyline Panthers vs. Mansfield Wolverines

The Doyline Panthers will challenge the Mansfield Wolverines at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.

After dropping their season opener at home, Mansfield is headed out to face a Panthers team ready to give their home crowd a win. Doyline came up short against Lakeside on Tuesday, falling 20-2.

Meanwhile, Mansfield gave up the first runs on Thursday, but they didn't let that get them down. They were the clear victors by a 25-15 margin over Southwood.

Everything went Doyline's way against Mansfield when the teams last played back in February of 2025, as Doyline made off with a 16-1 win. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Wolverines have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
