The Boulder Creek Jaguars will head out on the road to face off against the Camelback Spartans at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Boulder Creek is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.5 runs per game this season.

Last Friday, Boulder Creek earned a 7-3 victory over Desert Vista. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Jaguars.

Kinsey Wilcox spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on seven hits and racked up seven Ks.

On the hitting side, Bailey Kerr was a standout: she went 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI. Mikayla McCoy was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, Camelback was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 21-4 to Chandler.

Boulder Creek pushed their record up to 16-4 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Camelback, their loss dropped their record down to 1-12.

Everything went Boulder Creek's way against Camelback in their previous matchup back in March of 2024, as Boulder Creek made off with a 20-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Jaguars since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
