New Canaan had already won 11 in a row and they went ahead and made it 12 on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Norwalk Bears. That's more bragging rights for the Rams, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

While New Canaan won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-9, 25-22.

Their offense was headlined by Nolan McLaughlin and Saivinish Akavaramu, who picked up seven kills apiece. They got some help from Dylan Ho and his 12 assists. Donovan West controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

New Canaan pushed their record up to 14-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Norwalk, they now have a losing record of 8-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. New Canaan will head out to take on Staples at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Wreckers will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Rams surely won't give up without a fight. As for Norwalk, they are taking a road trip to face off against Notre Dame Prep at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
