Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Burleson). They put the hurt on the Everman Bulldogs with a sharp 9-4 win on Friday. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 6-2.

Burleson hit Everman with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Logan Tate (6), Layden Huckins, Brinnley Barnard, and Isabelle Buchanan.

Burleson's victory bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Everman, they dropped their record down to 2-13 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight at home.

Coming up, Burleson will take on Mansfield Timberview at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Everman, they will challenge Seguin at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Everman is facing Seguin at the right time seeing as Seguin is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
