The Fredericktown Freddies will venture away from home to take on the Centerburg Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Things were looking good for Fredericktown after they put the first points on the board on Friday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They took a hard 31-14 fall against Danville. While the Freddies didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Blue Devils 7-0 in the first quarter.

Despite the loss, Fredericktown had strong showings from Blake Sipes, who rushed for 126 yards and a touchdown, and Gavin Toombs, who picked up 78 receiving yards and a touchdown. Sipes' rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 126 rushing yards dating back to last season.

Centerburg never got on the board in their matchup last Friday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against East Knox last Friday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 40-6 victory over the Bulldogs. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 27-6.

Fredericktown's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Centerburg, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.
