Soccer Game Preview: Dixon vs. Harlem + How To Watch

The Dixon Dukes & Duchesses will challenge the Harlem Huskies at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The timing is sure in Dixon's favor as the squad sits on three straight wins at home while Harlem has been banged up by five consecutive losses on the road.

The home team had won the previous four meetings between Dixon and Rochelle, and Rochelle kept the tradition alive. The Dukes & Duchesses came up short against the Hubs on Tuesday, falling 5-0.

Meanwhile, Harlem managed to keep up with Rockford East until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Huskies lost 4-1 to the E-Rabs. Having soared to a lofty nine goals in the game before, Harlem couldn't push the score so high this time.

Harlem's loss dropped their record down to 8-8-1. As for Dixon, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-7.

Dixon suffered a grim 6-1 defeat to Harlem in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. That match was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Dukes & Duchesses were down 4-0.
