Basketball Recap: Melbourne Takes a Loss

Melbourne lost against Bergman back in February of 2016 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Melbourne Bearkatz fell to the Bergman Panthers 69-64.

Melbourne's loss dropped their record down to 15-4. As for Bergman, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season.

Melbourne and Bergman should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Arkansas Rankings. Melbourne (ranked 27th) will meet Yellville-Summit (ranked 120th) at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Bergman will square off against Cave City at 5:00 p.m. on Friday up 143 places (45 vs. 188).
