Basketball Recap: Alcorn Central Takes a Loss

Alcorn Central and Coahoma County squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Alcorn Central had to settle for second. They had to suffer through a 53-24 loss at the hands of the Coahoma County Red Panthers. The contest marked the Bears' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Alcorn Central's loss dropped their record down to 17-12. As for Coahoma County, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 19 of their last 21 games, which provided a nice bump to their 28-4 record this season.

As of now, neither Alcorn Central nor Coahoma County have any future games scheduled.
