Recap: Christian Learning Center Mustangs vs. Clinton Christian Academy Patriots
The Christian Learning Center Mustangs lost against the Clinton Christian Academy Patriots back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Christian Learning Center fell just short of Clinton Christian Academy by a score of 43-40. Christian Learning Center has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Christian Learning Center's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Easton Rhodes, who scored 18 points along with six rebounds and two steals. Rhodes hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Lane Milburn, who scored nine points.
Jared Wisniewski was his usual excellent self, scoring 22 points along with four steals and two blocks for Clinton Christian Academy. That makes it three consecutive games in which Wisniewski has scored at least a third of Clinton Christian Academy's points. Matthew Hansen was another key contributor, scoring six points along with three steals.
Christian Learning Center has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season. As for Clinton Christian Academy, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-10.
Christian Learning Center does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Clinton Christian Academy also has no future games currently scheduled.
