The Louisville Lions will head out to challenge the Ashland-Greenwood Bluejays at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

Louisville is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Palmyra 49-15 at home on Friday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Meanwhile, Ashland-Greenwood humbled Auburn with a 41-13 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bluejays.

A big part of Ashland-Greenwood's win came down to the chemistry between Derek Tonjes and his top target Thomas Spears. Tonjes threw for 291 yards and five touchdowns while completing 76.9% of his passes while Spears picked up 143 receiving yards and three touchdowns. Spears' longest reception was for an incredible 92 yards.

Ashland-Greenwood's defense was in the mix too, especially the secondary: they snagged two passes before it was all said and done. The picks came courtesy of Garett Turner and Landon Mohs. The dominant performance also gave Mohs a new career-high in rushing yards.

Louisville's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Ashland-Greenwood, they pushed their record up to 3-1 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.
