Buckeye Trail lost against Union Local back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Buckeye Trail fell just short of Union Local by a score of 12-11. One positive for the Warriors, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

This is the second loss in a row for Buckeye Trail and nudges their season record down to 2-3. That patch can't be blamed on the team's hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.0 runs over those games. As for Union Local, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.

Coming up, Buckeye Trail will head out to take on Conotton Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Conotton Valley will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Buckeye Trail surely won't give up without a fight. As for Union Local, they have already played their next matchup, a 20-4 victory against East Liverpool on the 29th.
