Soccer Recap: Pleasant Grove Has No Trouble Against Monterey Trail

Pleasant Grove kept a clean sheet against Monterey Trail on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over the Monterey Trail Mustangs. The Eagles better thank their lucky stars for the performance of Julian Sevilla, as he scored every single goal for his team.

Pleasant Grove has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 17 goals over those five games. As for Monterey Trail, their loss dropped their record down to 11-9-4.

Coincidentally, Pleasant Grove and Monterey Trail will both be playing Elk Grove the next time they take the pitch. Pleasant Grove will head out to face Elk Grove at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while Monterey Trail will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
