Basketball Game Preview: Union Bobcats vs. Nyssa Bulldogs

The Union Bobcats will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against the Nyssa Bulldogs at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Union is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last five games.

Last Saturday, Union earned a 40-30 win over Enterprise. Given the Bobcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked fourth, while the Outlaws are ranked 31st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Nyssa took a blow against Stanfield on Friday, falling 73-43.

Union's victory bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Nyssa, they dropped their record down to 3-3 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.
