Boonville and Southridge are an even 5-5 against one another since November of 2016, but not for long. The Pioneers will head out on the road to face off against the Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Boonville knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Southridge likes a good challenge.

Boonville will bounce into Tuesday's game after beating Evansville Memorial, who they had gone 0-9 against in their nine prior meetings. The Pioneers enjoyed a cozy 57-43 win over the Tigers on Friday.

Meanwhile, Southridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They were beaten by Perry Central 51-12. The Raiders were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 31-4.

Boonville's victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-2. As for Southridge, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.

Boonville couldn't quite finish off Southridge in their previous meeting back in November of 2024 and fell 44-42. Can the Pioneers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
