Basketball Recap: East Valley Athletes for Christ Piles Up the Points Against Heritage Academy Gateway

There's no place like home for East Valley Athletes for Christ, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They blew past the Heritage Academy Gateway Heroes 67-38 on Monday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 64-50 two weeks ago.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead East Valley Athletes for Christ to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ian Porter, who went 5 of 7 on his way to 13 points and three blocks. Ryan Anderson was another key player, putting up seven points and seven rebounds.

Defeat or not, Heritage Academy Gateway got some senior leadership from Talon Lemieux and Ephraim Smith. Lemieux posted eight points and eight rebounds, while Smith put up nine points.
