Baseball Recap: Castle Park's Losing Streak Snapped at Four Games

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Morse, Castle Park was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They came out on top against the Lincoln Hornets by a score of 11-6. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Trojans' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

Landen Aguon was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI. He is becoming a predictor of Castle Park's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 3-1 (and 2-7 when he doesn't). Vicente Aborqui was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Castle Park kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since the start of last season.
