Hamburg won the last time they faced West Seneca East and things went their way on Monday too. The Bulldogs put the hurt on the Trojans with a sharp 18-5 victory. Considering the Bulldogs' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.
Adrianna KorzKowski spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered five earned runs on 12 hits and racked up 11 Ks.
On the hitting side, Mackayla Musty was a standout: she went a perfect 4-for-4 with four runs, one triple, and two RBI. Maghan OLeary also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.
