Soccer Game Preview: White County vs. Mount Juliet

The White County Warriors will head out on the road to take on the Mount Juliet Golden Bears at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Mount Juliet took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on White County, who comes in off a win.

White County barely beat Upperman the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Warriors blew past the Bees 8-2 on Thursday. Considering White County have won seven contests by more than three goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Mount Juliet was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 5-1 to Beech. While losing is never fun, Mount Juliet can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee soccer rankings (they are ranked 178th, while Beech are ranked 41st).

The win made it two in a row for White County and bumps their season record up to 8-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those two games. As for Mount Juliet, their loss dropped their record down to 3-9-2.
