Softball Recap: Medfield's Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Three

With a playoff win on the line, Medfield rose to the challenge on Friday. They walked away with an 8-3 win over the Boston Latin Academy Dragons. Winning may never get old, but the Warriors sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Medfield got a massive performance out of Avery Razza, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with three stolen bases and two runs. Those two runs gave Razza a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Tess Baacke, who went 3-for-4 with two doubles, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Medfield's victory bumped their record up to 9-12. As for Boston Latin Academy, they now have a losing record of 9-10.

Coming up, Medfield will square off against Gloucester on Monday. Boston Latin Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
