Volleyball Recap: Eagle Mountain Comes Up Short

Eagle Mountain's tournament run continued when they took on Flower Mound on Friday. The Knights fell just short of the Jaguars by a score of 2-1.

Eagle Mountain's offense was headlined by Keoni Williams and Brooke Lacewell, who picked up seven kills apiece. They got some help from Molly Aubert and her 22 assists. Finally, Williams was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high four blocks.

Eagle Mountain's loss dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Flower Mound, their win bumped their record up to 11-5.

Eagle Mountain didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Amarillo on the 23rd. As for Flower Mound, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Plano West on the 23rd.
