Baseball Recap: Skyline Takes a Loss

Skyline was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 14-6 to the Susan Moore Bulldogs. If the Vikings were looking for revenge after losing 10-6 to the Bulldogs when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Skyline's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Susan Moore, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.

Skyline will be playing in front of their home fans against Brindlee Mountain at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Skyline has given up an average of 16.2 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for Susan Moore, they will face off against Pennington at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The timing isn't great for Pennington: they have been struggling with three straight losses at home, while Susan Moore has snatched up three consecutive wins on the road.
