Volleyball Game Preview: South Philadelphia Rams vs. Kensington KENSINGTON TIGER

The South Philadelphia Rams are taking a road trip to square off against the Kensington KENSINGTON TIGER at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

On Tuesday, South Philadelphia didn't have quite enough to beat MAST Charter II and fell 3-2. The loss put an end to the Rams' undefeated start to the season.

South Philadelphia started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 18-25, 21-25, 25-21, 26-24, 15-13.

Meanwhile, Kensington unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Abraham Lincoln.

Having lost for the first time this season, South Philadelphia fell to 4-1. As for Kensington, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.

South Philadelphia beat Kensington 3-1 in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rams since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
