Central won the last time they faced Hammond and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Wildcats came out on top against the Tornadoes by a score of 61-54. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wildcats.

Despite the loss, Hammond still got an impressive performance from Terran Perry, who shot 44% from the field en route to 24 points. Zaylin Elzy was another key player, putting up nine points and three steals.

Central's win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Looking ahead, Central will take on Sumner at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hammond, they will square off against Benjamin Franklin at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
