Basketball Recap: North Brunswick Scorpions vs. Ashley Screaming Eagle
North Brunswick was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They received a blow as they fell 52-33 to the Ashley Screaming Eagle. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Screaming Eagle this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 51-43 last Wednesday.
North Brunswick lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Mariah Bell, who posted eight points and six steals. What's more, she also posted three assists, the most she's had since back in February of 2024. Ayanna Meyers was another key player, going 5-for-8 to rack up 11 points in addition to eight boards and three steals.
