Volleyball Recap: Argo Triumphs

It's playoff time, and Argo had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top against the Catalyst-Maria Wolves by a score of 2-0 on Saturday.

Sebastian Pardol paced Argo's offense, picking up seven kills. Pardol got some help from Alexander Jakowicki and his 16 assists. Pardol was also solid from the service line: he led the team with five aces.

Argo has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-10 record this season. As for Catalyst-Maria, the defeat snapped their winning streak at 12 games and leaves them with a 12-2 record.

Looking ahead, Argo will take on Riverside-Brookfield at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Catalyst-Maria does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
