Basketball Recap: Des Moines East Comes Up Short

Des Moines East lost against Indianola back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Des Moines East Scarlets lost 75-49 to the Indianola Indians. The Scarlets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Des Moines East's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Indianola, their win bumped their record up to 6-14.

Looking ahead, Des Moines East will head out to square off against Urbandale at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. Urbandale has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 201 points over their last three matchups. As for Indianola, they will square off against Bondurant-Farrar at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
