Douglas had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.7 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Coquille Red Devils a 22-0 shutout. Considering the Trojans have won five contests by more than seven runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Douglas pushed their record up to 6-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Coquille, they are on a 17-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Douglas will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Red Devils: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
