Soccer Recap: Soledad Comes Up Short

If Soledad was feeling good fresh off their 5-2 takedown of Monte Vista Christian two weeks ago, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Soledad Aztecs lost 6-2 to the Gonzales Spartans on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Spartans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-0 back in January.

Soledad's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Gonzales, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 15-3.

As of now, neither Soledad nor Gonzales have any future games scheduled.
