Niles Notre Dame came tearing into Tuesday's game with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Saint Viator Lions by a score of 2-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Dons also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

While Niles Notre Dame won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-16.

Niles Notre Dame's record is now 13-5. As for Saint Viator, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Niles Notre Dame is set to face off against their familiar foe Nazareth Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Saint Viator will take on rival Marist at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
