Soccer Recap: Richwoods Picks Up Second Consecutive Win

With a playoff win on the line, Richwoods rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They never let the Orion/Sherrard United get on the board and left with a 3-0 victory. The score was close at halftime, but Richwoods pulled away in the second half with two goals.

Julianna Djamadoua and Acosia Morris scored all three of Richwoods' goals, bringing their combined season tally to 22 goals.

The win made it two in a row for Richwoods and bumps their season record up to 15-5-5. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 12 goals over those two matchups. As for Orion/Sherrard, their loss dropped their record down to 21-5.

Richwoods wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 3-1 defeat against Dunlap on the 23rd. Orion/Sherrard does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
