Basketball Recap: Chambers Takes a Loss

Chambers was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a 68-14 loss at the hands of the Mallard Creek Mavericks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mavericks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 73-31 back in January.

Kiara Anderson continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Mallard Creek, dropping a double-double with 19 points and ten steals. Anderson is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed four or more in each of the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Elle Stone, who went 6-for-12 to rack up 15 points.

Chambers' defeat dropped their record down to 6-17. As for Mallard Creek, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 21-3 record this season.

As of now, neither Chambers nor Mallard Creek have any future games scheduled.
