Longview Christian won the last time they faced Greenville Christian and things went their way on Tuesday too. Longview Christian blew past the Greenville Christian Eagles 53-21. Longview Christian has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Longview Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Madi Newlin led the charge by dropping a double-double on 17 points and 12 rebounds. Those 17 points gave Newlin a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Lily Hildebrand, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten steals.

Longview Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 22 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 12 offensive boards in four consecutive contests.

Longview Christian's win bumped their record up to 13-3. As for Greenville Christian, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Christian Heritage the next time they take the court. Longview Christian will host Christian Heritage at 6:30 p.m. on February 4th, while Greenville Christian will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on February 7th.
