Canterbury had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the Southwest Florida Christian King on Monday. The Cougars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matchups by six runs or more this season.

Canterbury has been performing well recently as they've won 12 of their last 15 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-9 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Southwest Florida Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-12.
