Soccer Recap: Sycamore Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Sycamore can now relate to. They fell just short of the Beavercreek Beavers by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. The matchup was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Sycamore couldn't quite close it out.

Their goal came courtesy of Eric Mercurio, who's now up to two this season.

Sycamore's loss dropped their record down to 11-5-2. As for Beavercreek, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-1-2.

Sycamore does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Beavercreek, they will square off against Little Miami at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
