Football Game Preview: Glenn Bobcats vs. Atkins Camels + How To Watch

Glenn is preparing for their first conference matchup of the season on Friday. They will host the Atkins Camels at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Friday, Glenn ended up a good deal behind Southeast Guilford and lost 34-20. The Bobcats were down 27-7 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Glenn's defeat came about despite a quality game from Brady Robinson, who threw for 117 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 30 yards.

Meanwhile, Atkins was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 29-7 to Forbush.

Glenn will have to contain Xavier Moore as he made an impact in Atkins' last game. He rushed for 83 yards and one TD on only six carries. Moore got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 67 yards.

Glenn now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Atkins, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.

Everything came up roses for Glenn against Atkins when the teams last played back in September of 2016, as the squad secured a 47-0 victory. Will the Bobcats repeat their success, or do the Camels have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
