Basketball Recap: Fitzgerald Gets the Win

Fitzgerald won the last time they faced L'Anse Creuse and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Fitzgerald Spartans secured a 49-43 W over the L'Anse Creuse Lancers.

L'Anse Creuse lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Allison Tuladziecki, who posted ten points and six steals. Tuladziecki has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 13 times she's played. Another player making a difference was Veronica Niarhos, who had nine points and five boards.

Fitzgerald is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 7-5 record this season. As for L'Anse Creuse, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-11.
