Basketball Recap: Rose of Sharon Skates Past Job Corps with Ease

Rose of Sharon waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They blew past the Job Corps Titans, posting a 63-31 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 64-54 back in December of 2024.

Job Corps' defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was TRENTON PETERSON, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 12 rebounds. PETERSON is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down 12 or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was ANGEL BACA, who posted ten points.

Rose of Sharon pushed their record up to 6-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Job Corps, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-4.
