Football Recap: Delcastle Technical Starts Season with Loss at Home

Delcastle Technical unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They took a blow against the Academy Park Knights on Saturday, falling 41-0. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Cougars came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' football rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 41st in Delaware, while the Knights are ranked 254th in Pennsylvania).

Academy Park's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2.

Delcastle Technical has already played their next contest, a 44-0 win against Dickinson on the 12th. As for Academy Park, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 29-7 victory against Penn Wood on the 13th.
