Volleyball Recap: Countryside Christian Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Countryside Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Saint Francis Catholic Academy Wolves. The Minutemen were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wolves apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Countryside Christian took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-19, 25-21.

Leading Saint Francis Catholic Academy to victory were Morgan Ritten and Gianna Morali. Ritten had eight aces and three digs, while Morali had 16 kills and three digs. Another player making a difference was Gabrielle Rosado, who had 13 assists and four digs.

Countryside Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Saint Francis Catholic Academy, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Coming up, Countryside Christian will head out to square off against Aucilla Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Saint Francis Catholic Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Oak Hall at 6:45 p.m.
