Baseball Recap: West Boylston Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

West Boylston had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 15-run drubbing they dealt Murdock on Wednesday. The Lions put the hurt on the Blue Devils with a sharp 17-2 win. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won three matches by ten runs or more so far this season.

The victory (which was West Boylston's third in a row) raised their record to 6-4. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Murdock, they are on a 29-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.
