Chippewa Valley waltzed into their matchup on Wednesday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They came within five points of losing the streak, but they secured a 64-59 W against the Avondale Yellowjackets. The Big Reds have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Yellowjackets, too.

Chippewa Valley's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.6 points over those games. As for Avondale, their loss dropped their record down to 15-4.

Chippewa Valley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 64-22 victory against Sterling Heights Stevenson on the 21st. As for Avondale, they have also already played their next game, a 53-45 win against Adams on the 21st.
