Green Bay Preble is a perfect 10-0 against Manitowoc Lincoln since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. Manitowoc Lincoln will take on a team with plenty of momentum: Green Bay Preble extended their winning streak to three on Tuesday. The Hornets never let Bay Port get on the board and left with a 17-0 victory.

Green Bay Preble got a massive performance out of Sam Foytik, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Sierra Krahn, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-3.

Foytik wasn't the only one making solid contact: Green Bay Preble kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in April of 2024.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Manitowoc Lincoln, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They were the clear victors by a 17-7 margin over Sheboygan North on Thursday.

Taylor Peterson and Jordin Popp did most of the damage at the plate: Peterson scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-4, while Popp went 2-for-4 with three runs, four RBI, and one double. Those four RBI gave Popp a new career-high. Grace Novak was another key player, scoring two runs while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

Green Bay Preble's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 3-0. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 9.3 runs this season. As for Manitowoc Lincoln, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Everything went Green Bay Preble's way against Manitowoc Lincoln when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as Green Bay Preble made off with a 14-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Hornets since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
