Zimmerman won the last time they faced Big Lake and things went their way on Thursday too. The Zimmerman Thunder were the clear victor by a 67-44 margin over the Big Lake Hornets. The Thunder have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matchups by 23 points or more this season.

The win made it two in a row for Zimmerman and bumps their season record up to 6-2. As for Big Lake, they now have a losing record at 2-3.

Zimmerman won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Rockford at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Rockford will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Zimmerman surely won't give up without a fight. As for Big Lake, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on St. Francis at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
