Given Jefferson Christian Academy's advantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 64th, while Roanoke Catholic is ranked 241st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Payton Dunbar continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 23 points along with six steals and five assists. That makes it seven consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Jefferson Christian Academy's points. Another player making a difference was Abby Reed, who scored 14 points.
