Basketball Recap: Chardon's Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Chardon lost against Riverside back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The game between the Chardon Hilltoppers and the Riverside Beavers didn't end well, with the Chardon Hilltoppers falling 65-46. The Hilltoppers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

When it comes to explaining why Chardon lost, don't look at Cameron Gerlica. Despite the final result, she posted 14 points in addition to six boards and three steals. Another player making a difference was Selina Sparker, who had ten points.

Chardon's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-6. As for Riverside, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Chardon has already played their next contest, a 62-40 win against Hathaway Brown on the 17th. As for Riverside, they will face off against Rootstown at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday.
