Soccer Recap: Minooka Takes a Loss

If Minooka was feeling good fresh off their 9-0 takedown of Bolingbrook last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Indians came up short against the Naperville Central Redhawks on Wednesday, falling 5-2. While losing is never fun, Minooka can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked 106th, while Naperville Central are ranked third).

Minooka now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Naperville Central, their victory bumped their record up to 10-0.

Coincidentally, Minooka and Naperville Central will both be playing Lyons the next time they take the pitch. The Indians will head out to face the Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Redhawks will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
