Soccer Recap: Legion Collegiate Academy Gets the Win

Legion Collegiate Academy kept a clean sheet against Hammond on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 victory over the Skyhawks. That's two games straight that Legion Collegiate Academy have won by just one goal.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Carolyn Tessadri, who's now up to seven this season.

Legion Collegiate Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-6-1 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 30 goals over those seven matchups. As for Hammond, the loss snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 5-5-1 record.

Legion Collegiate Academy has already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Pinewood Prep on the 16th. As for Hammond, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Gray Collegiate Academy on the 16th.
