Norton is a perfect 10-0 against Millis since May of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Lancers will host the Mohawks at 5:00 p.m. Norton is coming into the match hot, having won their last six games.
Norton is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past Holliston 23-3 on Wednesday. The Lancers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine contests by six runs or more this season.

Liana Danubio was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and only one walk). She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-5 with five runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Those five runs gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Norton let Avery Tinkham and CeeCee Goodwin run wild. Tinkham went 2-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles, while Goodwin got on base in all three of her plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Those three runs gave Goodwin a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Gabby Rodriguez, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI and one run.
Norton kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 19 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in six consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Millis came up short against Ashland on Wednesday and fell 6-2.
Keira Davis was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base.
Norton pushed their record up to 13-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.7 runs over those games. As for Millis, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-5.
Millis' pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Norton has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .475. It's a different story for Millis, though, as they've only averaged .349. Will they be able to contain Norton's hitters?
Everything went Norton's way against Millis when the teams last played back in March, as Norton made off with a 15-2 win. Do the Lancers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Mohawks turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
