The Reynoldsburg Raiders will square off against the Teays Valley Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Reynoldsburg is out to stop a six-game streak of losses at home dating back to last season.

Things were looking good for Reynoldsburg after they put the first points on the board on Friday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They fell to Canal Winchester 20-14.

Meanwhile, Teays Valley won against Watkins Memorial last Friday with 35 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. Teays Valley walked away with a 35-28 victory over Lancaster. The win was nothing new for the Vikings as they're now sitting on three straight.

Teays Valley found their leader in underclassman Carson Payne, who rushed for 91 yards and two touchdowns. The dominant performance gave Payne a new career-high in rushing yards. Another player making a difference was Cavin Mcdowell, who picked up 94 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Teays Valley's defense was in the mix too, especially the secondary: they snagged three passes before it was all said and done. The picks came courtesy of Peter Graham and Payne. Payne also set a new season high mark in rushing yards with 91.

Reynoldsburg's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Teays Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.
