Jesus Pacheco commands the offense for a Colts win

Recap: Buena Colts vs. Sunnyside Blue Devils
The Buena Colts scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They took down Sunnyside 84-65. The victory was familiar territory for Buena who now have three in a row.
Buena's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jesus Pacheco, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds. Jamin Booker was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds.
Buena has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. As for Sunnyside, they now have a losing record at 8-9.
Buena and Desert Vista will face off at 1:30 p.m. on December 30th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. One thing working in Desert Vista's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last five matchups. Sunnyside will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Buena at 7:00 p.m. on January 9, 2024. Buena knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past four games -- so hopefully Sunnyside likes a good challenge.
